Pressure Sensors

A pressure sensor is an electronic device designed to measure the pressure of liquids or gases and convert the detected pressure value into an electrical signal. It typically uses piezoelectric, capacitive, or strain-gauge technology to sense pressure changes with high accuracy. Pressure sensors are widely used in industrial automation, marine systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and process control applications. They help monitor system performance, ensure operational safety, trigger alarms when limits are exceeded, and provide continuous feedback to controllers or monitoring units. Depending on the model, a pressure sensor may offer analog outputs such as 4–20 mA or 0–10 V, or digital communication options for integration into advanced control systems.
